How much is a subscription to PlanSwift?
A PlanSwift subscription costs $2,000 per seat per year for PlanSwift Essential or $3,000 per seat per year for PlanSwift Core, billed annually. Each plan includes the software, updates, priority support, and training for the year. PlanSwift offers discounted pricing for additional seats and a 14-day free trial with no credit card required.
What PlanSwift is for
PlanSwift is takeoff and estimating software with pre-built assemblies for each trade. It is a Windows desktop application, and PlanSwift lists Windows 10 (64-bit) as the minimum operating system. PlanSwift says it works for all trades and plan types, including PDF, JPG, TIFF, and CAD.
PlanSwift subscription plans: Essential and Core
PlanSwift describes Essential and Core as annual plans that cover the software, all updates, priority support, and training for the year. Its pricing page shows annual pricing only.
| Plan | Price | Includes |
|---|---|---|
| Essential | $2,000 per year, 1 seat, annual pricing | Takeoff and estimating with pre-built assemblies; Auto Count, Auto Scale, and Auto Bookmark; priority support; 2 hours of live one-on-one training |
| Core | $3,000 per year, 1 seat, annual pricing | Everything in Essential plus the Takeoff BOOST suite, including Auto Takeoff for a first-pass takeoff of areas, lengths, and counts |
PlanSwift free trial and team pricing
The 14-day trial is full PlanSwift Core. There is no card on file, and PlanSwift says nothing is charged automatically when the trial ends. Additional seats are discounted, teams buying 10 or more licenses may qualify for volume pricing, and current customers can add Takeoff BOOST by upgrading their plan through their account manager.
PlanSwift subscription cost compared with Zip Takeoff
Zip Takeoff is browser takeoff software for civil and sitework estimating, on Mac or Windows. Free does not expire and includes 1 estimator, 10 projects, and 5 GB of plan storage. Pro is $39 per estimator per month or $390 per year, and viewer seats are free.
PlanSwift assemblies calculate material, labor, and waste inside the program, so compare the two against the estimating work you need done after the measurement.
